Turnout in Chechen referendum at 43% by 1 p.m. - election committee
GROZNY. March 23 (Interfax-South) - the turnout in the referendum on the Chechen draft constitution and presidential and parliamentary election laws amounted to 43.2% at 1 p.m. on Sunday, the Chechen election commission has told Interfax.

   The required minimal turnout for the referendum is 50%+one voter.
